Wednesday Afternoon For Student

School Groups

Private One-To-One Session

Private / Group Sessions

We offer everybody the opportunity to learn or improve their skills by arranging private sessions for individuals or groups with our instructor team. Please see below, the different categories that we offer, but if you have any further questions, please contact the office.

Private one to one sessions cost £20 per hour, which includes the instructor and rent of all equipment and can be tailored to suit your needs.

Private bookings for groups are £15 per person and must be booked in advance, so we can plan around our 2024 programme.

School group sessions are available. Group day visits or a 6-week set of sessions during a half term (1 session per week) tend to be the most popular. The students work towards RYA sailing/windsurfing stages and develop new team work skills in the process.

Friday Student Taster Session

Midland Sailing Club will be hosting another taster session in 2024 where you can come and experience our facilities and learn more about our student programme, as well as having the opportunity to try some of the watersports on offer. Stay turned for the date!

You will have the opportunity to book onto either windsurfing, sailing or paddleboarding for only £3.50 per person, per session. There is free parking inside the gates off Icknield Port Road – look for the Midland Sailing Club sign at the road.  Put “B16 0AA” into your satnav or search for “Midland Sailing Club”.  We also have places to lock up bikes if needed.

Come through the second gates next to the water and you will see a reception desk 20 metres up on the right.  Hand sanitiser is provided at the desk and we ask that you use it when you arrive.

Please arrive 15 minutes early on the first day, to give you time to check in at reception and get all the equipment that you will need for the course.
